Checkpoint is a display typeface family that was inspired by the lettering on the historic border hut at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin. A condensed sans, the letters aim to convey strength with a touch of softness brought by the rounded terminals. The modular form offers a strong vertical design that is well suited for applications in title, headlines or branding project. With 14 styles and an extended character set that supports most latin and Cyrillic based alphabets, the family supports over 240 different languages. It equally employs a range of Opentype features to offer a selection of numerals or layout choices to best suit each setting. Checkpoint is available as a family of stand-alone wights or as a single variable font.
